OKAY you don’t have to like beyonce but don’t you DARE say she is overrated.
this woman has been working at it since she was A CHILD
this woman is one of the most WEALTHY, POWERFUL, CREATIVE, TALENTED, VISIONARY, LEGENDARY, ICONIC, WORLD RENOWN, INDESTRUCTIBLE PERFORMERS IN THE PLANET
don’t you dare say the success of a MOTHER, WIFE, PERFORMER, ARTIST, WOMAN OF COLOR is not well deserved just because you don’t like her.
Unfriendly reminder that in America it’s reasonable to say an unarmed black kid deserved to be shot six times because he might have robbed a convenience store, but a white kid shouldn’t be kicked off the high school football team just because he violently raped a girl.
you’re not allowed to wear a cotton t-shirt unless you’re a true fan! do you go to the fields and look at it? do you appreciate the agricultural implications of a gigantic cotton industry? do you understand the harvesting process? name 5 cotton harvesting machines. didn’t think so
we’ve all got that weird pretty big secret that we don’t really hide but like we don’t flaunt it like “My brother died of cancer” or “I’m gay” or “I tried to kill myself last year” or anything really and when you find out somebody’s big plot twist you know you’re in this friendship for the long run
The thing with me is that everyone I meet assumes that I have a big secret like that and they’re just patient with me and they’re like “one day she’ll open up but it’s ok” but the truth is… I don’t have any? I’m quiet because I don’t care? I mean yeah I’m bisexual but it’s not a secret I’d tell that if there ever was any mention of sexuality in our conversation?? That’s literally it I don’t have anything else to ‘hide’???? It’s because whenever people see a quiet or different person they just assume that you were like them once but there’s a huge backstory that made you who you are today
